I noticed today that my blog was down–a database error that was quickly fixed once I actually noticed it wasn’t available. I stopped by Border’s this evening after eating dinner nearby, and decided to pick up a new soft cover Moleskine notebook, with a few of the smaller, pocket-sized notebooks for on-the-go note taking.

I’m a big fan of Bruce Sterling, not only as a sf writer but also as a design thinker. He’s good at distilling a lot of seemingly-disparate information into consumable bits and then mixing those up into some very interesting ideas.
