Toxic airborne event

Apex, North Carolina isn’t doing so well.
I read the headline and immediately shouted to Monica, “Hey, a toxic airborne event!” DeLillo didn’t think he was writing non-fiction.
From the sound of it, this is no joke, though.
“There are pesticides, oxides, chlorine gases, there are all grades of contaminated material in this fire and in this smoke…”
